Olympos Paragliding

We schedule our flights—where you’ll soar through the skies—at the most suitable times of the day, depending on wind direction and speed.

You are looking at the Mediterranean from the summit of a mountain at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters. After a few steps, the ground will be pulled from under your feet, the magnificent coasts of Adrasan and Olympos will gradually shrink, and the sky will be entirely yours. Paragliding is the activity that offers the most different perspective one can experience in this region — literally.

In this experience carried out in a tandem flight format, a licensed and experienced pilot is by your side at all times. No prior experience or special physical preparation is required. Transfer from your accommodation point included, equipment included, insurance included.

Olympos Paragliding: Discover Adrasan from the Sky

Olympos paragliding flights are carried out from Adrasan Odunluk Hill, known as Tozlu Hill, which is located at an altitude of approximately 980 meters above sea level. The take-off point is reached by an approximately 15-minute off-road vehicle journey on a stabilized road.

Flights are carried out at various times of the day depending on wind conditions. The landing point is also determined as Adrasan Bay or Karaöz Bay depending on the wind conditions. Both landing points are located close to the seashore; thus, it is possible to go directly to the beach after the flight.

All flights take place in a tandem format. A tandem flight means that the participant flies suspended from the same parachute with a licensed pilot. The pilot takes over all controls; the only thing the participant has to do is enjoy the experience.

Flight Details

Take-off Point: Tozlu Hill

Tozlu Hill, also known as Adrasan Odunluk Hill, is one of the most established paragliding take-off points in the region with an altitude of approximately 980 meters. The view seen from the hill encompasses the Mediterranean coastline in multiple directions, such as the turquoise waters of Adrasan Bay, Olympos beach, Çıralı, and the Kaş peninsula in the distance.

To reach the take-off point, a journey of approximately 12 km is made from the accommodation point. The last part of this distance passes through a stabilized road climbing the mountain slopes, and the transfer is provided by insured off-road vehicles.

Flight Duration

Depending on weather conditions, the average flight duration varies between 15 and 30 minutes. During hours when thermal air currents are strong, the flight may take longer; this situation further enriches the experience.

Landing Point

The landing is carried out in Adrasan Bay or Karaöz Bay, depending on the wind conditions of the day. Both points are close to the seashore and are wide open areas. After the landing, participants are transferred back to their starting points.

Equipment and Safety

All flight equipment is provided by the flight crew and undergoes a safety check by licensed pilots before every flight. Participants are covered by insurance during the transfer and flight. A brief briefing is given by the instructors before the flight.
